Fundraising and Development Officer

This varied and rewarding fundraising role works across Port Sunlight Village Trust’s commercial, heritage, education, operations and landscape teams to grow income through funding bodies, major donors and individual supporters. You will deliver our fundraising strategy and day-to-day activity, including researching and applying for funding, developing one-off and regular giving opportunities, and supporting colleagues with project applications.

You will raise the profile of our organisation as custodian of Port Sunlight, engaging residents, businesses, groups and key regional stakeholders with our fundraising priorities. Using your fundraising experience and strong communication and project management skills, you will deliver financial results while building lasting support and advocacy among stakeholders and funders.

Digital Marketing Officer

As Digital Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in promoting Port Sunlight Village Trust’s activities, attractions, events and charitable work through our digital channels. You will be responsible for planning, creating and delivering engaging content across social media platforms, maintaining and developing content on our website and for other digital platforms, creating and distributing email marketing campaigns, and realising the full capabilities of our online ticketing system.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help increase visitor numbers, grow online audiences, strengthen engagement with residents and stakeholders, and enhance Port Sunlight Village Trust’s profile as a charity.

Repairs and Maintenance Officer

The Repairs and Maintenance Officer is responsible for the delivery of responsive, planned and cyclical repairs and maintenance across Port Sunlight Village Trust’s housing stock, principal buildings and estate infrastructure.

Working within the Community and Conservation Directorate and reporting directly to the Conservation and Estates Manager, the postholder will ensure that repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget whilst meeting the high standards expected within Port Sunlight’s unique historic environment.

Bridge Cottage Exhibition Steward Volunteer

We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to help bring our brand-new exhibition ‘Model Image’ to life at Bridge Cottage Gallery. This fabulous show celebrates June Duncan, the Liverpool model who was one of Britain’s most successful and distinctive fashion models of the 1950s, appearing in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and Tatler. The exhibition will feature photography and fashion. If you love meeting people, enjoy the arts, and want to be part of a welcoming community, this role is a fantastic way to get involved.

Costumed Interpreter Volunteer

As a costumed interpretation volunteer, your role will help us engage visitors with the history of Port Sunlight and enrich the Museum experience. With provided costumes, you will engage with the public independently, sharing the stories of Port Sunlight and answering questions. Full training will be provided.

Worker’s Cottage Steward Volunteer

The Worker’s Cottage provides visitors with the opportunity to step inside a typical Port Sunlight cottage, experience everyday life during the early 20th century, and interact with a knowledgeable steward who can speak about living in Port Sunlight, today and in the past. You will be the sole PSVT representative at this venue and as such will be responsible for ensuring that visitors have an enjoyable and safe experience. Shifts available are 10am-1pm and/or 1pm-4pm. Each shift is 3 hours long and volunteers can do either the morning or afternoon shift.
