Sometimes people like to buy a physical memorial to remember a loved one or cherished memory. Port Sunlight Village Trust will work with you to choose something which meets everyone’s wishes and to make sure we work together to care for our historic village for generations to come.
Our commemorative giving opportunities

£15 could donate a bug house in a chosen location for one year so insects have somewhere to call home. For £30 you would also receive a bug house to take home to “twin” with the one in Port Sunlight Village.

£25 could donate a bird box in a chosen location for one year so birds have somewhere to nest. For £40 you would also receive a bird box to take home to “twin” with the one in Port Sunlight Village.

£250 could buy a dedicated plaque on an existing Port Sunlight bench for 5 years.
Longer time periods are available for commemorative plaques at additional costs.

£1,000 could sponsor a flowerbed or chosen area of the village for one year.
Flowerbeds and areas dependent on availability and in agreement with our Landscape team.

£2,000/£2,500 could provide a dedicated bench in a chosen location in Port Sunlight Village for 10 years.
Commemorative bench price is location dependent.
What will you receive?
You will receive a named certificate of thanks in accordance with agreed upon wording and your name recorded in a thank you book in our museum shop.
Where possible, you will be invited to visit your commemoration with a member of the Port Sunlight Village Trust team and learn how you are helping support the village.
These are not only wonderful symbols of celebration, recognition or remembrance, but also contribute positively to the contemporary character and biodiversity of our historic village.
