As an organisation, we understand the importance of learning and we aspire to deliver creative, accessible opportunities for learners to engage with our story and explore their own understanding of the history and future of the village.

We’re seeking to recruit a new casual Learning Assistant to join the team at a very exciting time as our learning offer is looking to expand. Learning Assistants will be responsible for delivering formal learning programmes and on occasion informal learning, on behalf of Port Sunlight Village Trust (PSVT) to children and young people at key stages 1-4. The majority of activity will take place in Port Sunlight but with some off-site visits, therefore an element of travel to fulfil the needs of this role will be required. In line with PSVT’s safeguarding policy a full DBS check is a requirement of this role.

You will be joining a friendly and committed team of staff and volunteers passionate about creating memorable and fulfilling experiences for all. Applicants should have previous experience of teaching and facilitating workshops and have a demonstrable flair for communicating and engaging with children and young people.
