Essential resident and visitor information about the Port Sunlight Road Race 2025

One of the biggest events in Port Sunlight’s events calendar is returning in 2025 – the Port Sunlight Road Race!

Organised by BTR Liverpool, the Road Race welcomes thousands of runners each year to follow the 5k or 10k route through the village’s leafy streets. It’s arguably one of the most picturesque running events in the UK.This year’s edition takes places on Sunday 8th June.

We’re delighted to be welcoming back Unilever Port Sunlight as the headline sponsor for the event.

All spaces for the Road Race have now been allocated. Registration for the 1k Fun Run is on the day at BTR’s tent.

Road closures and parking information

As in previous years, road closures will be in effect from 7:30am to 2pm on race day, Sunday 8th June. See our map and accompanying information below for all the details (click to download).

We encourage all those attending the event to travel via public transport although there will be some car parks open around the edge of the village on the day.
