Acclaimed sculptor Emma Rodgers collaborates with Port Sunlight Village Trust to create new ornaments

Port Sunlight Village Trust has unveiled five beautifully crafted ornaments, designed exclusively by acclaimed sculptor Emma Rodgers to help raise funds for the charity, and now available to order online and are available from Port Sunlight Museum’s shop.
The intricate designs celebrate different aspects of the iconic village: the Boating Pond’s fountain, a squirrel, a robin, the Lyceum & Dell Bridge and the old Fire Station. Carefully drawn by hand, the artworks have been expertly laser cut from stainless steel and finished with a hand-polished surface, creating a striking and contemporary piece inspired by the village.
Each ornament is etched with Emma Rodgers’ signature and is both weather- and rainproof, making it suitable for displaying indoors or outdoors throughout the year. Every piece comes presented in a drawstring pouch and includes a velvet ribbon for hanging, making it an ideal gift or keepsake.
Speaking about the collaboration, Emma Rodgers said:
“Each of the designs featured on these ornaments were hand drawn and inspired by the village, from the Boating Pond’s fountain to the beautiful old Fire Station where I’ve based my workshop and studio. The drawings were converted into a file and then cut with a laser, each polished by hand. My aim was to focus on different elements of nature and heritage within the village, and I am delighted that the pieces capture the tiny details such as the lettering on the Fire Station and the shells of the Sea Piece fountain. I’m so excited to see people buying them and supporting the village, and exploring what else I can do with Port Sunlight Village Trust to celebrate this special village.”
This special collaboration offers supporters a meaningful way to celebrate and support Port Sunlight while owning an affordable and unique artwork. Proceeds from every ornament sold contribute to Port Sunlight Village Trust’s fundraising efforts, helping the charity continue its mission to tell the village’s stories, care for its historic collections, buildings and landscapes, and ensure Port Sunlight remains a welcoming place to live, work and visit.
