Meet Katie Tyson, a Port Sunlight-based illustrator who creates magical designs inspired by the village.
“Ever since I was a little girl my favourite thing to do was draw and I have since made a career out of it.
Inspired by my love of flora and fauna, fairytales and folklore, my illustrated prints and gifts are intricately painted with whimsical, ethereal characters.
I use watercolour and ink to create my designs, working from my home in Port Sunlight Village.
Wandering around the village always leaves me feeling inspired to create magical fairytales in my illustrations, so I’m thrilled to have my designs at the museum shop and I hope you enjoy seeing them – thank you for supporting a local artist!”
