Port Sunlight was founded by ‘Soap King’ William Lever in 1888 to create a healthy and beautiful place to live for the workers at the Lever Brothers’ soap factory. Today the village is home to a fascinating museum, beautiful architecture, a world-class art gallery, stunning parkland and a thriving community.
