Toys of the Past

Wednesday 31st May and Thursday 1st June.  Drop in any time between 10.30am and 3pm.

This event is packed with good old-fashioned fun!  Discover some of the toys of yesteryear, learn some games from the street and parlour, and compare toys from rich and poor children.  After playing with toys, you can make a whirly whizzer, a springy clown and a balancing acrobat to take home.

Very appropriately, these activities will take place in the original infants’ hall of the first Port Sunlight school, now the Lyceum, by the Dell in Port Sunlight, CH62 4UJ.

Allow around an hour for the activities.  The workshops cost £1.50 per child.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
