The weather was beautiful, the festival atmosphere relaxed and friendly with many of the producers totally sold out by Sunday!
Port Sunlight Village Trust would like to thank all who took part in this year's Port Sunlight Festival, it was a huge success. Producers and Exhibitors did a fantastic job catering for around 35,000 visitors handling the queues brilliantly!
The live music stage kept the beat going over the weekend with a fantastic assortment of choirs, bands and theatre schools, with the crowds loving their sounds.
One item which dominated the festival for all the right reasons, was the traditional Helter Skelter. Standing proud against the blue sky the red and white structure looked perfectly in place next to the village fountain. With a queue forming all day on both days, it was fun to see parents enjoy the slide down as much as the children.
The crowds enjoyed Dr Diabalo's Edwardian Street Theatre
The Edwardian Street Theatre entertained the crowds with old time favourites like, 'Bed of Nails', 'Swordswallowers' and 'Spinning Plates'. Dr Diabalo's made many new friends over the weekendwith his mystery magic and myth!
Another great old time favourite was Punch & Judy,
which drew in the crowds of children and adults.
Over on the museum green our younger visitors enjoyed donkey rides!
